Delete Windows.old Folder in Windows 10 OS

Whether you upgrade or install the Windows on your computer PC, the Windows.old folder copy stays on in this operating system, since it occupies the plenty of space in case you want to go back. If you are happy with Windows 10 operating system and you don’t want to get back, and the previous version taking some amount of GB in your Windows 10 support internal drive, all the files that we called Windows.old folder. If you want to remove Windows.old folder from C Drive, in condition the system doesn’t support to remove your files from your PC.

Here you can follow a few steps to perform:

Type ”Free up disk space” in the Search the Web and Windows

After that you can find a small screen will display Disk Cleanup: Drive Selection->Select the drive you want to clean up->Drives-> (C) -Click Ok button.

The Disk Cleanup shows the message: Is calculating how much space you will be able to free a (C) drive.

Under Disk Cleanup, you can click Clean up system files and OK.

Again the you have to perform same function, under Files to delete->Previous Windows installation(s) and Click Ok.

Disk Cleanup will ask you to make sure whether you want to delete these.

Finally, Conform Click ”Yes” button
