How To Verify Your Windows PC Uses UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) or BIOS (Basic Imput/Output System)

Many of Windows users they don’t aware of the system term, it’s all related to your hardware, bootable, start up your operating system. If your system has Windows 7 or Windows 8 machine you want to send analog and your system is not supporting well, or you just want to know exactly your system using UEFI or BIOS, to get this information from your PC is very complicated. Here you can know how to find out boot environment while you use a computer.

Open your File Explorer to navigate:

C:\Windows\Panther\serupact.log

After that open the file in your Notepad and search following items:

Callback_BootEnvironmentDetect: Detected boot environment: BIOS or UEFI

You can check the firmware whether it’s a BIOS or UEFI. These items were listed on your boot environment. For the reason you are verifying the issues with analogs, use a new version if your system connected with UEFI.

In your system Setupact.log missing out, and your system currently enabled with Windows 7, 8 or 10, open Run command or Search the web and windows and Type msinfo32 and give enter System Information–>Legacy, then your system connected with BIOS. If it’s any other else, you can check on the list.
