Recently, the Facebook working hard with new features to on his Messenger application, when it comes as a standalone application, and now the new update brings you a Live Location which it comes under plate. Live Location feature act like a share your current location to your friends and family members.

Before you get on this, Apple brings location sharing options for iPhone users. Right now, the Facebook introduce a Live Location option for Messenger, Once you share your Live location your friends or family can see once it get update, it will be activated after one hour. It means your contact person can view your current location at the moment.

* To share your Live Location in a message on iOS, tap the Location icon or tap the More icon and then select Location.

With today’s update, you’ll see a map of your current location and the option to tap a blue bar to share your Live Location.

* If you choose to share your Live Location, the person or people you share it with will be able to see where you are on a map for the next 60 minutes.

* You’ll be able to see an estimate of how long it would take to get to others’ locations by car. (The ETA is seen by the person with whom the location is shared.)

* You can stop sharing your Live Location at any time; just tap Stop Sharing.

* A small clock in the lower right hand corner of the map will also let you know how much longer you’re sharing your location for.

Live Location both on Android and iOS:

* Open Facebook Messenger

* Tap Navigation button or Arrow button or More button

* Tap Share Live Location that looks blue Round button

* At the app of bottom you can see Share Live Location for 60 minutes

* You can change the sharing time or Stop any time
