Almost it going to touch one year (Sep 2016) that Google Allo app for Android and iOS devices. Right now Google Allo interested to work with a desktop computer which comes through Windows and OS X as well. This feature same like WhatsApp for Desktop and your phone is the real competitor to send or receive messages. But the function has been restricted with Chrome. If you hate that clicking tab every time, then you can download Google Allo on the web.

Allo for Desktop is an unofficial open-source project that was built as a wrapper around the official allo.google.com web client. It is built using the Nativefier command line tool. It works exactly like it does on Google Chrome, but as a standalone desktop application. This project is not affiliated with Google.

When you are going to download the Google Allo, the wrapper doesn’t ask you install an additional program, for this you are required Windows or OS X desktop. After you download the application all you need to extract the file from there you have to install the program.
