There are plenty of features buried in your Windows 10, In previous operating system on your Windows, local user account or Microsoft account name available on your login screen, but if you are using Windows you may go through to find the option in the Start Menu on the left hand side of the top. Whether you want to bring the changes on both features like Start Menu and Log in screen, you can allow edit feature on both accounts.

First, try to change the Microsoft account name, and your computer needs internet connection. It can help you to change the log in screen name only, not allow you to change the Microsoft email account.

Open Start Menu–>Settings in Windows 10–>Accounts–>Your email and accounts–>Manage my Microsoft account–>Edit name–>Save. After that the link will open in default browser. To bring the changes, whether your account ask your password enter and make the finals.

Secondly, Start Menu–> Search box–> enter Control Panel–>View by–>Small icons–> User Accounts–>Manage another account–>Change the account name–>Once you type a new name give Change Name button, so this name will display on the Welcome screen and Start Menu. That’s it.
