Google Maps gets a new update version 4.30.0 for iOS device. Which brings a new Directions Widget for users who can run turn-by-turn navigation from your phone lockscreen.

The new widget will be shown on Today View–>Notification Center–>Edit button–>Enable Google Directions. Once you get the right path, the navigation directions will highlighted in the Notification Center, when you go through swipe right on your iPhone lock screen.

Furthermore, the Google Maps has been connected with the iMessage app that any user who wants to send their recent location to anyone like friends and family person can stay on the same platform. And this update takes care about some bug fixes.
