Last year F8 developer conference event, that Facebook announced that going to test Dark Mode in Messenger, but the feature reaches out invisible the year of 2019. This news was first listed on Android Police that user doesn’t have authorization directly to enable dark mode through app settings, you need to open the account and send crescent to any of your friends account to enable dark mode – this works both on Android and iOS as well. This process activated through sending emoji on of your friend’s account.

How to enable dark mode:

First, you need to load the Facebook Messenger app on your smartphone. Select moon or crescent emoji to any of your friends in Messenger account. Again you tap on the emoji multiple times until you never receive animation captured screenshot. After doing this, you will see that your Messenger account point out that you can enable dark mode when you tap Turn On In Settings. For confirmation, you can visit your profile picture from there you can enable the toggle in the settings.

This process has been done with manually, but Facebook point out this feature will roll out through an update, this is something different to enable dark mode. The process comes pretty cool.
