If you are pretty interested to run Linux or previous Windows OS in a virtual machine on your Windows 10 PC? You have to know that featuring this function you don’t think about a third-party program to run Linux and Windows through on Windows 10.

Your Windows 10 system carrying a lot of secrets that is Hyper-V tool in Windows10 they are you can create and run the virtual machines. It’s the only feature that supports all kind of Linux, Windows operating system, and more.

Before enabling this function, the Hyper-V tool it’s not a part of Windows Home edition. This feature only available on Pro, Enterprise and Education editions pack. And also one more important point if you have Windows 10 with a 32bit it will not go with anymore. Even you are using above edition.

Required your system:

Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, and Education edition.

Starts 4GB and more RAM.

Compulsory 64-bit processor with SLAT.

And CPU support VM Monitor Mode Extension.

Check Your Computer support Hyber-V

Start menu –> CMD–>Systeminfo–> ENTER key.

Get into the Hyper-V requirements section and confirm all features are turned on.

This Hyber-V tool comes with built-in, but it will not comes through default. You need to manually perform the function to use on your Windows 10.

You have a choice to enable Hyper-V through Control Panel, Powershell, or Deployment Imaging Servicing and Management tool (DISM).

Choose any one of the function to complete the process that you need to run Linux and Windows OS.

Enable Hyper-V using Control Panel:

Type appwiz.cpl –> ENTER key.

The new Windows screen opens, now see on the left-hand side pane click Turn Windows features on or off-link. While clicking the link the new Windows feature will open.

After that, find Hyper-V and select the checkbox to enter and Click Ok button. Finally, the feature requesting to restart the computer to complete the process.

Enable Hyper-V with PowerShell:

Load Powershell through the administrator. Right-click with the cursor on the Start button, and click Windows PowerShell.

Click Yes button, once you receive the User Account Control Prompt.

Try below command through copy and paste on PowerShell window.

Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V -All

Click the Enter key to run command.

Once the installation has been through manual, give up restart the computer.

Enable Hyper-V through Command Prompt and DISM:

First Run Command Prompt as an admin.

Copy and paste the command which is given for you work and Click Enter key.

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /All /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V
