We all know about WhatsApp, that what purpose everyone using on each Android devices. It made a milestone with useful feature to connect with friends and family members. There are plenty of updates from the social chat application they are forwarded message to fight against misleading information. Along with this export your account data with GDPR, turn voice call into video call in the middle, and much more.

Now, WhatsApp beta 2.18.216 applied a new feature on beta program, which is named mute shortcut for Android supporters.

The well known site WABetaInfo posted that WhatsApp was undertesting ”mute chat” function, and this one now available for WhatsApp user, if they using beta version 2.18.216. It works smoother if your WhatsApp account recevice minimum 51 and more messages on same chat user, they can find a new Mute button which is located on WhatsApp notification through your Android notification drawer.

This feature doesn’t appear regularly, if the single chat user doesn’t hit more than 51 plus messages. One more point that WhatsApp trying to add Mark as Read shortcut to add in Notification Center, at the moment you can’t find this option. Maybe this feature can be reach next update. If you aren’t fine with Mute feature, then you can backup and reinstall your WhatsApp. That’s it.
